The Tayeb Foundation accomplishes its mission of being a catalyst for positive change by financing programs that are innovative and create permanent solutions for the community.
The foundation is focused on sustaining the Tayeb family’s timeless values and deep commitment to making life better for individuals and communities. By working with grantees and collaborating with other philanthropic organizations, the foundation is dedicated to making a positive difference. The Tayeb Foundation concentrates its philanthropic efforts on three primary areas of need: education, sports and social services
Grant Categories
Education
Access to high-quality education is a basic right regardless of background or income level. Sadly, it is a right that is being denied to far too many children and adults. Our mission is to improve the education outcomes for all students, especially those of limited means, by ensuring access to high-quality educational choices that prepare them for a lifetime of opportunity. Since an excellent education is critical for giving an individual a lifetime of opportunities, we believe that if we partner with quality schools and assist with job placement, student outcomes across the board will significantly improve. We have seen enormous progress over the past year and know that individuals can succeed if given the opportunity. Across the globe, we have focused our investments on providing adults and children the financial means to obtain a high-quality education followed by job opportunities, internships or access to micro loans once their education has been completed.

Sports
Athletic grants are competitive but available for elite athletes. Like most merit-based financial aid, they are awarded to recognize high achievement. The Tayeb Foundation’s Sports grants are awarded based on need and performance. Across the globe, we have focused our investments on students with combinations of scholastic excellence and outstanding athletic achievement.

| Cricket | Based on the need we provide access to professional coaches, cricket equipment, practice gear, exposure to professional cricket, international and local cricket participation opportunities, amateur and professional work opportunities. |
Social Services
The Foundation funds direct-service organizations that tackle the roots of chronic poverty by applying effective solutions to the most challenging social and economic problems. Preference is given to programs for affordable housing, micro loans, youth development, domestic abuse, food delivery and food banks.
